Imagine having $60 million dollars and giving every cent of it away. That's what Milton S. Hershey did. In one of the biggest philanthropic gestures of the century, Milton S. Hershey and his wife Catherine, who could have no children of their own, founded a residential school for children in need.

Milton, preceded in death by his wife, left his fortune to the School, which has been in existence for 100 years. Destinies have been changed and thousands of lives have been saved through the many opportunities the School provides.

Today, the Milton Hershey School®, serving 1,800 children from across the country, continues to grow. It provides a home, food, clothing, medical care, and a quality education at no cost. We are looking for more children to take advantage of this great opportunity.

Don't you believe that's something people should know about?
