Purcell Friendship Hall & Friendship Garden
William E. Dearden Alumni Campus
109 McCorkel Road, Hershey
A Special Place ... for Special Occasions
In September of 2006, Milton Hershey School and the Dearden Alumni Campus Board proudly dedicated the Purcell Friendship Hall during the School's Homecoming Weekend.
The Purcell Friendship Hall was created as a place where members of the School family could hold special events and celebrations and was named in honor of MHS alumnus, Richard Purcell '61.
The adjacent Friendship Garden proudly displays the names of all HIS/MHS graduates including Honorary MHSAA Members and a plaque listing all the students who died while enrolled in the School. The garden also provides additional event space and includes engraved pavers with the names of retirees, staff members, alumni and others.
Members of the School family can reserve the facility for School related functions or for private events by contacting the Alumni Campus Coordinator. Additional information about rental fees, catering, equipment or other event related questions should also be directed to the Alumni Campus Coordinator.
