Hammond Learning Resource Center

Hammond Learning Resource Center

The Learning Resource Center, which opened in August 1999, was named in honor of the first principal of the former MHS Junior/Senior High School, W. Allen Hammond.

The Hammond Learning Resource Center (LRC), a shared facility, houses thousands of books, reference materials, and periodicals used by both middle and high school students and MHS staff. Technological learning resources, such as computers, a distance-learning lab, and media-on demand equipment are also available in the LRC. It contains state-of-the-art technology to support learning and also serves as a reference desk to help teachers integrate technology into student learning.
